EJ Analysis and Comprehensive Kits
Our Braden engineers will perform an analysis on the failed expansion joint and recommend an EJ design to address the problem. Factors that influence the EJ design include belt material, insulation pillow, belt gap, temperature, corrosive media, frame material & design, liner, insulation depth, movements, and pressure. There are several improvements that can be made including:
- Absorption of vibration/shock
- Corrections for minor misalignment of ductwork
- Corrosion resistance
- Temperature abatement
- Easy-removal design
Belt sections are also available. If you have an area that is damaged or ripped, Braden can evaluate and provide a belt section that can be spliced to your existing material, saving you on the total cost of replacement.
